• Kamagong, also called Asian ebony or ironwood is a slow-growing tropical wood without visible annual rings (in the tropics, there are no serious seasons). Our ebony comes from the mountains where there is a harsh climate, so the wood grows very slowly and becomes very hard and heavy. Sticks are decorated with engraving in some places (see photos).
