Hardwood from the heart of the palm, fire-hardened
Bahi wood is a Filipino type of hardwood that has been fire-hardened in addition to its natural strength. The wood is criss-crossed with fibers that run into each other, which significantly increase the stability.
Sticks of this type are relatively heavy and very hard. Characteristic is the light brown-black speckled grain due to the grain of the wood.
